I am Maria Kathrina ‘Kcat’ Yarza. I was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2) in 2004. Complications of the tumor growth in my brain changed my vision and gave me numbness/weakness in my left arm and legs which made me partially disabled. The fluid build-up in my brain and the bilateral acoustic schwannomas gradually affected my hearing. In January 2006, I totally lost my hearing. I was prepared to face the world of silence and accept what was happening to me but I never lost hope that MIRACLES do happen.

New Products

Hello super friendly friends! My hEAR campaign is a success and my cochlear implant is a success.. Thanks for your prayers and support.. *mwah* *mwah* *mwah* I'm hearing now.. Though I still can't understand sounds clearly.. Soon. Soon. But I can already recognize every sound..

Anyway, my fund raising is still ongoing.. MY CI isn't fully paid yet and I'm raising funds for that.. I always find ways, so here's the way.. I'm selling new line of products, of course by me.. :) This is my way of sharing what I can..

just finished editing my hearyeah site.. re-orginizing..

hEAR shirts are still very much available.. My CI device is not yet fully paid, I still need to raise around P300,000-P400,000.. So please, please please ummm.. 'help' :)

this coming November.. i'll be selling another product for my fund raising.. I hope you'll still support me.. :) I still need to raise around P300,000-400,000 so I need to earn earn earn.. Btw, my new product would be less than P100 this time.. What is it? Secret. :P Basta coming soon.. Maybe on November 10.. Parang movie.. Haha!

The Gift

I have a private blog for 5 years now.. I just feel like writing for myself, to myself.. No need to contain others in my dramas.. Haha. Not that I'm being an introvert, but it's better that way.. It's helping me.. a lot! I blog in there whenever I feel like it.. Eh I felt like blogging there and tweaking it this morning.. Then as usual, I re-read some of my old post.. Then I found out when I think I became strong - emotionally and spiritually.. Some things are just better kept private.. Besides, I'm only human, I have flaws too.. Haha.
